Easy to clean
Used a few times with a new pup. Works well and leaves the carpet quite dry. I like that it comes apart for cleaning very easily. If you store it with fluid in it may want to stand it on a tray as it seems to leave a little fluid if its left standing.

Cleans thoroughly
A most effective carpet cleaner. The hose adapter removes stubborn spots. This machine is better than a Rug Doctor and saves on hire fees.

Easy to use.
I have bought the Vax Platinum and I'm very pleased. I have also read reviews from their US counterpart Hoover which has the exact model but under the Hoover name. Cleaned my grey carpet with a breeze. Easy to use. Dry only mode is really useful. If I want to rinse with water only, I just remove the solution tank. I hope that the rubber seals will last long as this are the first to go on this kind of products. Easy to maintain.

Vax the carpet rejuvenater.
Having owned a Vax for some9 years,we decided to get the new Platinum model. It was so easy to assembly, we couldn't believe the size of the cleaning liquid compared to the older model. When we were allset up with water no higher than 40C. It was a dream to move over the carpet. We had cleaned the carpet about a week ago and realised the brushes had finally surrender. With the new model the colour of the waste water was shameful. I could carry on extolling the virtues of this machine but enough is enough. Thank you Vax Chris and Brian Munday.
