VAX MAXClean Stainshot Pet-Design Carpet Cleaner

Excellent machine. Does the work it is supposed to do with no issues

I am really impressed with my new Vax MaxClean StainShot Pet. It’s compact, very easy to use and has done a brilliant job of removing stains and freshening up my carpets and upholstery. I have used Vax carpet washers for many years but this is far superior to my previous cleaner. It is also handy for those little pet accidents. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I bought this a month ago and I’m so happy with it! Fantastic cleaning power, really easy to use and clean once finished. My carpets came up great and they were dry in an hour!

I received this machine as part of a VAX testing programme. Having owned and used various VAX spot washers and carpet cleaners over the years, this is around the 8th machine I’ve tested. My first impression is that it combines the qualities of the VAX SpotWash Max Duo Pet Design with features and performance similar to the Platinum SmartWash. While it isn’t quite in the same league as the Platinum, its Dry Only mode and Motion Sense technology are excellent. It washes on the forward stroke and extracts on the reverse, helping carpets dry faster. It’s considerably smaller and lighter than the Platinum and uses a single brush, making it ideal for those with limited storage space. The onboard hose is a real highlight, making it much easier to switch between spot cleaning and full carpet cleaning. It also includes VAX’s built-in hose cleaning system, which makes maintenance simple. I particularly liked the debris catcher, which prevents dirt getting trapped and flicked from the sides, as can happen with older machines. Cleaning performance is excellent and very much on par with the Platinum, although its narrower cleaning path means more passes are needed. However, this makes it easier to clean tighter spaces without moving as much furniture. The new StainShot technology is another standout feature. It’s easy to use, highly effective and surprisingly doesn’t create excessive foam. Overall, this is a versatile, compact option that bridges the gap between a spot washer and upright.

I’ve had a couple of Vax carpet washers over the years and this is so much better. The wash on forward stroke, dry on reverse stroke works great and one of the drawbacks of the previous machine - the automix function which often foamed up and sometimes leaked after switching the power off This unit has a stain shot function which allows you to concentrate on specific marks on the carpet, refill the reservoir with fresh water and all but dry the carpet afterwards It’s also much lighter than the old units and easier to manoeuvre and store With dogs there’s often little marks left on upholstered and carpeted surfaces and this makes easy work of them!
