Vax Dual V Carpet Cleaner

Just finished cleaning two very dirty carpets (4 kids, 3 dogs, 2 tortoises and 1 man creature) and they're clean! Easy to use, effective brushes, excellent water extraction, and the hot air blower helps dry the carpet. All in all a fantastic machine and with a 6 year guarantee (only product I've ever bought with such a long guarantee) I've tried the main rental machine and this does a better job. Excellent excellent excellent.

This is the 3rd Dual V Carpet Cleaner I have purchased in the last few years - the other two have been borrowed by my sons and eventually never returned - they have loved them so much

I have had a Vax Dual V carpet cleaner for over 6 years now and have just purchased another. My son uses an electric wheelchair and with cream carpets this can be a nightmare, especially during the winter! However, my carpets still look like new thanks to the Vax Dual V. Great for getting rid of muddy tyre tracks even on the lightest coloured carpets!

My daughter needed a carpet washer so I decided to give her my old Vax - still going strong after 20 years service- and treat my carpets and rugs to a new one. All my hoovers (and the old washer) are Vax and I have been delighted with their performance. Other big brand models that I have tried previously have always broken or failed to be effective after a few years so have ended up at the HWRC. This cleaner caught my eye because if it's looks initially- big and powerful yet- from the description- a breeze to use. I have not been disappointed! So easy to put together and simple to use, with a choice of a quick clean or a deep clean. The quick clean easily removed dirty footprints and food spills and the carpets were dry in an hour. Perfect! Recently I have cleaned a very old rug belonging to my sister in law's elderly father. It has been sitting under his favourite chair for more than ten years, and although regularly hoovered, it had never been washed. It had various food and drink stains on and it, looked tired and was rather smelly. A deep clean session has removed these old stains and given the rug a new lease of life- I'm delighted with my purchase and would wholeheartedly recommend it. It looks good, is easy to clean after use and comes with various tools for a range of applications.

This cleaner is fantastic I found the assembly instructions a little confusing but managed to get it together okay. To put it simply it is excellent and so easy to use. When finished it was hard to tell the carpet was damp. I had been considering replacing a light cream coloured carpet but after cleaning it with this carpet cleaner it came up as good as new.
