A great pieces of equipment.
I bought this item based on other reviews. We are also more than delighted with our Vax carpet shampooer that we had earlier purchased. The delivery was prompt and the packing and instructions without fault. We are an old couple and had previously been using a Dyson. We found the Vax everything that it ought to be and in performance terms easily up to the Dyson standard. However, we were not used to removing the battery for managing charging and also not being able to hang the Vax up on the wall as we did the Dyson. The vax should be parked against a wall held by its support. This was a disadvantage for us and overall we decided to talk to Vax customer services. With great reluctance I asked Customer Service if I could return the item although I fully realised there was absolutely nothing wrong with the Vax performance, it was just how we might use and store it. Customer service were extremely understanding and I returned the item to them and they provided a full refund. That was the mark of a manufacturer who cares about both the customer and the item it makes. They deserve the 5 stars on all counts.

Light weight to carry
Bought as a gift. As i already own a Vax. Brillant for picking up dog hair , easy to empty and lightweight to carry.
