Just bought this new battery as my other one failed at the end of its first year. It had one day left to run under the guarantee but the seller would not replace i5 or refund me. Reading reviews for the battery it seems to be an extremely common occurrence, more than I could ever have imagined, which isn’t really acceptable from a company like Vax. So I have had to buy a new battery which are not cheap, & I have bought directly from Vax to have the advantage of their three year guarantee, which I am sure will be needed. It’s such a shame that this has happened to so many customers. Having said that the vacuum cleaner itself is great, I just hope this new battery is great too.
