It all began in 1977, with a world-first. Droitwich native, Alan Brazier, frustrated with the lack of carpet cleaning equipment on the market, created the first domestic vacuum cleaner that would allow people to wash the carpets in their own homes. This small, orange 3-in-1 machine built the foundations for a legacy of innovation spanning 40 years – and one which has seen Vax become Britain’s leading floorcare specialist with stockists across the globe.

For us, the aim of the game has always been the same - to provide quick, easy solutions to cleaning quandaries and to never, ever stop innovating. Over the years we have built up a community of loyal customers, whose feedback is of utmost importance to us.
