Vax Rapide Ultimate Carpet Cleaner

I love this carpet washer! It is so easy to use and really has made my carpets look like new. I didn't think my carpets were so dirty but the colour of the water after I had finished, said differently! I have cleaned the stairs using the wash tool attachment as well, which was very easy, although the washer is quite heavy so you might need someone to help you, like I did! The washer comes with washing solution but I would recommend you buy extra as once you have cleaned one carpet, you will want to clean all of them!

The hose and wand attachments were not particularly great, but the basic machine worked very well, cleaning the carpets and leaving them pretty well dry. This is until the motor burned out after about 10 uses and left a black stain on the carpet.

Only used my vax rapid ultimate carpet cleaner six times in 5 years and brush motor broke down tried in vain with official sites with no satisfaction. Very poor after sales service.

I bought this machine in August 2014 - impressive twice - but motor burning - black liquid emitting from motor during its third use. Impossible to get hold of any support - advice from VAX by email or telephone.
